DWG·Discrepancy
reference → candidate · equipment register

Compare two drawings, get the change register.

Drop the issued drawing and the new revision. The tool extracts equipment tags and datum positions, diffs them, and returns the discrepancy spreadsheet — the same file used to drive revision clouding.

Put the issued / baseline drawing on the left and the new revision on the right. Order matters: it decides which equipment counts as added vs removed.

Is each change unique, or already drawn elsewhere?

Takes the added / removed tags from your comparison and searches for them across every drawing in the set. Tells you whether each one is genuinely new (or fully removed), or already exists on other sheets.

Registered changes, tagged global vs local.

Combines your comparison and cross-reference: keeps only equipment in the master register (Equipment List to Inventive), and rewrites each change as GLOBALLY / LOCALLY ADDED or GLOBALLY / LOCALLY REMOVEDglobal = the cross-reference found it nowhere else, local = it exists on other sheets.
